Your Northville Township Professional Firefighters are once again participating in American Lung Association’s “Fight for Air Climb”. This year however, we have decided to dedicate our climb in support of a friend of ours, Paisley Long.
We first met Paisley and her family in January of 2023, when they visited our firehouse for a tour. Paisley, like most 4-year-olds, loves firetrucks and emergency vehicles and couldn’t wait to see them in person. It was on this station tour that we learned of Paisley’s health issues.
Paisley was born with a congenital heart disorder called Scimitar Syndrome and one working lung. With odds stack against her, Paisley has fought like a warrior and won every day for the last 4.5 years. She is an inspiration to us all, and we are so happy to join Team Paisley.
