Climbing for a Cause: NTFD Members Take on the Fight for Air Climb

The Northville Township Firefighters Charity Fund was honored to support six members of the Northville Township Fire Department as they participated in the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb at Ford Field on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.

More than just a physical challenge, the Fight for Air Climb is an opportunity to raise awareness and support for those living with lung disease. Every step taken helps fund critical lung health research, clean air initiatives, and programs that benefit individuals and families affected by asthma, COPD, lung cancer, and other respiratory illnesses.

Our firefighters embraced the challenge with determination and purpose, climbing in support of those who face breathing difficulties every day. Their commitment reflects the spirit of service that extends beyond emergency response and into the heart of our community.

We are incredibly proud of these six firefighters for representing Northville Township with strength, compassion, and pride. The impact of their efforts goes far beyond the steps they climbed, helping make a difference for countless individuals in the fight for healthier lungs and cleaner air. 💙🚒👟
