In October 2025, the Northville Township Firefighters were proud to partner with the Northville High School Mustangs for the first time to raise awareness and support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Mustangs’ Pink Out Varsity Football Game.
Under the Friday night lights, firefighters, students, families, and community members came together for an evening filled with school spirit, unity, and a powerful cause. Throughout the event, our union and charity fund sold Breast Cancer Awareness T‑shirts.
All proceeds from shirt sales were donated directly to Pink Sisters Inc., a local nonprofit organization that provides breast cancer treatment assistance, resources, and support services throughout Southeast Michigan. By combining awareness with action, this event helped ensure that the energy of the Pink Out extended far beyond the football field.
We are incredibly grateful to the Northville High School Mustangs, their students, families, and fans for welcoming us and standing shoulder‑to‑shoulder with us in support of those impacted by breast cancer. Events like this remind us that when a community comes together, real impact is possible.
Thank you to everyone who purchased a shirt, spread the word online, or stopped by our booth to show their support. Your generosity helped turn school spirit into meaningful support for a cause that touches so many lives.
We are proud to stand with our community—not only in times of emergency, but also in moments that call for compassion, awareness, and solidarity. Together, we fight for hope, strength, and continued progress in the battle against breast cancer.
